애플, 비츠 스튜디오 3 와이어리스 발표

애플은 작년 가을, W1 칩을 개발하여 각종 비츠 제품과 에어팟에 적용하며 이어폰 헤드폰 시장에 새로운 바람을 일으켰습니다. W1 칩은 너무나도 간편한 연결 방법과 차원이 다른 배터리 수명을 지원했기 때문인데요. 

한 가지 아쉬웠던 점은, 비츠 솔로 3 와이어리스, 파워비츠 3 와이어리스, 비츠 X에는 W1 칩을 적용했지만 가장 상위 라인업인 비츠 스튜디오 3 와이어리스에는 적용하지 않았다는 것입니다. 그러나 최근, 애플은 비츠 스튜디오 3 와이어리스를 리뉴얼하며 W1 칩을 적용했고 이제 iOS, 맥, 애플워치에서 원터치 연결이 가능하게 되었습니다.

이에 그치지 않고 비츠 스튜디오 3 와이어리스에는 Pure ANC라는 새로운 노이즈캔슬링 기능이 들어갔습니다. Pure ANC는 주변 소음을 감지해서 최상의 음악 감상을 제공해주는 것이 특징입니다. 이는 전원 버튼을 두 번 눌러서 끄거나 켤 수 있고 활성화 여부와 상관없이 음질이 좋다는 것이 애플의 설명입니다. 

비츠 스튜디오 3 와이어리스는 외형상으로 크게 달라진 점은 없습니다. 충전 단자도 그대로 마이크로 USB를 사용합니다. 하지만 새로운 색상 6가지를 선보였고, 급속 충전 기능인 Fast Fuel 기능이 적용되었습니다. 배터리 수명은 Pure ANC 기능을 켰을 때 22시간, 껐을 때 40시간 지속된다고 합니다. 가격은 349.99 달러로 10월 말 출시가 예정되어 있습니다.

Last fall, Apple developed W1 chips and applied them to various Beats products and Airpods, raising a new wave in the earphone headphone market. The W1 chip is so easy to connect and supports truely long battery life.

One thing I regretted was that W1 chip was applied to Beats Solo 3 Wireless, Power Beats 3 Wireless and Beats X, but was not applied to the top lineup, Beats Studio 3 Wireless. Recently, however, Apple has renewaled the Beats Studio 3 Wireless and applied the W1 chip, and now it's possible to make one-touch connections from iOS, Mac and Apple Watch.

Not only that, Beats Studio 3 Wireless has a new noise cancellation feature called Pure ANC. Pure ANC features the ability to detect ambient noise and provide the best listening experience. This is Apple's explanation that it can be turned on or off by pressing the power button twice and is good regardless of whether it is active or not.

The design of Beats Studio 3 Wireless is not so much changed. Micro USB is used as is the charging terminal. However, six new colors were introduced, and Fast Charge function was applied. Battery life is 22 hours when Pure ANC is turned on and 40 hours when turned off. The price is $ 349.99 and is scheduled for release in late October.
